Bomb (yet affordable) Skin Care Routine ♡
What’s up, ladies? How’s it goin’ lately? Me? I’m good and have been pretty busy last week but here I am for another post where I will share to you, beautiful human beings, my current skin care routine that is BOMB, mild and *drum rolls* affordable. Yaaaas. Okay, let’s start.
1. Cleanser. Alright, still the same. I am using the Celeteque Dermoscience Hydration Facial Wash and as you can see in the picture it’s almost empty so I’m gonna need to buy another one. My second bottle. Which means that I love it and it’s been working pretty good on me. Remember when I told you on an older post that my face (especially nose area) got dry because of this? Forget about it. Haha. I think my face was just tryna adjust with the product that time. Plus, I partnered it with a really nice moisturizer so it’s all good now and I bet I’ll be sticking with this for a long period of time. I’m feeling it.
Price: 85 pesos
2. Toner. I am using Human Heart Nature Hydrating Face Toner. Its function is moisture boost. I have been using this for 2 weeks already, if I am not mistaken. And I would say as early as now that it is working pretty good because it is really mild and it cleans your face without removing its natural moisture. In fact, it even hydrates your skin which is awesome. You know what, a misconception that I’ve always believed in before was that if you got an oily skin, you don’t need to moisturize anymore because it will just cause pimples. It’s really just lately that I’ve come to realize how important it is to hydrate and moisturize your skin. It’s also kinda crazy that before, I’ve always wanted my face to be, like, matte. But now, I want it looking just fresh and healthy. Anyway, we will still talk about moisturizer, so enough with the blah blah here. Haha. But I know you get my point. Okay, I would say this toner is pretty awesome because it does two things: tone & moisturize.
Price: 99 pesos
3. Moisturizer. Yup, still on it. I am using Human Heart Nature Day and Night Moisturizer. My first post on this blog is about this pair and I’ve promised to give you an update if it worked good on me and the time... is now. And the answer is...yes, it’s good. Actually, I’ve always expected it to be good because it doesn’t have any harmful chemicals and it is very mild. That’s the thing about all natural products, it’s safe and just feels good on the skin. I mean, at first, we won’t notice any drastic difference or changes on the skin BUT it is good in the long run. I couldn’t stress it enough that it is safe. No need to worry about anything. Safe to say that this is probably one of the best moisturizers that I have tried. Love it. Love the smell and the feel right after putting some on my face.
Price: 174 pesos each
4. Exfoliator. I am using St. Ives Apricot Scrub. THE. BEST. EXFOLIATOR. EVER. I mean, this is my holy grail and I know a lot of you guys agreed when I said it’s the best. No need for anymore explanation on this. I mean,ya know it already.
Price: 255 pesos
You know guys, I am just a newbie to the skincare world, honestly. I wasn’t really big on skincare. Before, I would just wash my face with soap when I wake up and before I go to sleep and that’s about it. It’s only now that I really do a “routine”. And it’s also just now that I really take taking care of my skin seriously. That is why I really like sharing this journey with you . It’s gonna be a long and slow journey to the dream skin. Please be with me ♡
Note:
Do CTM every day and night. (Cleanse, tone, moisturize)
Exfoliate 2 to 3 times a week.
PS, I am still looking for a good yet affordable Vitamin C serum to complete this skincare routine. Suggestions will be much appreciated. Drop me a message here: (sandybelle-says.com/ask)
