I might be totally wrong but from what I’ve seen of her character, I can’t really imagine her to be a cat that would want leadership roles? I think deputy maybe but probably not leader

Sandyomen is an extremely nervous cat who was given the deputy position in hopes that it would help her gain confidence in herself and her skills as a warrior, becoming leader would be something she's earned but isn't necessarily something she enjoys doing. As a leader she definitely depends on Wolfjaw heavily.

I know you guys don't know her well but do you think it's more or less compelling for Silentbite to refuse the leader/deputy position?

Would you prefer Silentbite as a warrior and Sandyomen remain leader?

Sandyomen/Omenstar! She's a nervous wreck and can't really bring herself to agree with starclan chosing her as the true leader of shadowclan but she's greatly supported by her deputy Wolfjaw!

Silentbite Facts

• Silentbite is known be extremely quiet when he strikes. Never even spilling a drop of blood. During his final months as an apprentice he went on many solo patrols that utilized this.

• Even long after the death of Whitethroat, Silentbite still remained not particularly sociable. He's only really close to Sandyomen, Wolfjaw, and Loudbelly.

• He was mentored by a cat named Cherrybee!

• Sometimes it seems like Silentbite is ignoring his mate but really, Silentbite loves to listen to her ramble about whatever.

• Silentbite still has a love/hate relationship with Wolfjaw but had he not met Loudbelly would've became mates with Wolfjaw instead.

why didn’t starclan accept garlicface to be shadowclan’s leader?

Garlicface simply wasn't ready, starclan knew the reason behind Garlicface being named leader and allowed Garlicface to receive his lives for the sake of surviving his wounds. They owed Twitchstar that much. But proper leadership was bestowed upon Sandyomen!

Wolfjaw becomes the deputy instead of Silentbite when Sandyomen takes on the role as leader because she has anxiety and Wolfjaw is everything she isn't
