15 Days until Reopening - Wolfjaw Feature

As you know, the server is opening memberships on August 30th!

In the meantime, we’ll be counting down the days and featuring some of SOTC’s characters on our Tumblr!

Today is the second day of The Clans’ longest roleplayed characters! With 15 days to go before the membership applications return, we’re featuring Wolfjaw of RiverClan, played by Akila! This old Drypaw was submitted December 31st and has been actively roleplayed for the last 8 months! Wolfjaw's childhood-sweetheart romance with with his leader Ripplestar has earned them RiverClan Duo of the Month in the past, as well as his close bond with his apprentice Firestorm. He was the first to train an apprentice from his in-rp ceremony to his warrior name, and can be seen hanging around RiverClan's nursery, doting on his grandkits, Bouncekit and Flopkit.

Tomorrow, we’ll be featuring WindClan’s longest roleplayed character; look forward to discovering who it is!

#Repost @drunkenmarmotforge with @repostapp ・・・ Demo pair of #gedore tongs arrived today from @kc_tool , so good excuse to fire up the coke forge. 40 cm size (left, next to a more aerodynamic pair I made for digging things out of coke that's less versatile) is best for 3/8"-1/2" round or square stock. Excellent for holding Damascus billets that I usually weld a short piece of 1/2" square bar to so I know the orientation and don't have a long handle hanging out of the forge. 16" tongs are about right working at the hydraulic press. Can work for larger stock in a pinch if you only put the bar part way into the tongs, but much harder to hold onto...
