Wave NEVER realized. Omenstar wasn't trying to be obvious, quite the obvious, but Falconcurl was dying inside every single time they interacted

Sandykit was seen as a curse by her parents because of her unusually dark eyes, so Swankit was preferred over her. The only cats that made Sandykit feel loved was Silentkit and Wolfkit! They have always loved Sandyomen, unapologetically affectionate with her and protective of her. When Sandyomen was made into Omenstar, she first offered the position of deputy to Silentbite but the responsibility fell onto Wolfjaw instead. Sandyomen was always very insecure of her eyes but evidently her leader mark became a change in her eye color! The thing she hated most about herself was now the symbol of her authority!

I feel like Omenstar probably constantly smells like blood, considering he's constantly crying it/his nose is constantly bleeding. As he describes it himself; "Until I have wept for every drop of blood I have spilled, I will never truly be free from the stench of bloodshed"

Sandyomen/Omenstar! She's a nervous wreck and can't really bring herself to agree with starclan chosing her as the true leader of shadowclan but she's greatly supported by her deputy Wolfjaw!
