WOW! San Francisco, you have changed a lot since the last time I walked your streets... Today, it was a surreal morning walk through DTSF with nostalgic mental images superimposed over your sun kissed streets. It is both awe inspiring and bitter sweet to see the changes you have gone through. The bars that are now stores, the buildings that are still the same and all the different stages of construction in between. 10 years ago I ran amok through your streets, drinking everything, laughing at anything and living life to it's alleged fullest with friends hard earned through multiple tours of the bar and party scene. Many memories and many more lost memories. 7 years ago, I walked you in the middle of the night taking the solitude you offered and reveled in the quieter, emptier, darker side of yourself to me. I was in a different stage of life, different outlook, different everything. 2 years ago, I got lost walking my path back to my, at the time soon to be wife, lost in thought about our wedding that was to come moments later It was literally my first steps down a path that would lead me down a rabbit hole of adventures and I wouldn't change a thing...
