Rhyne quirked an eyebrow as he replied with a grin, “I’m not sure about plaid, but how about instead of flowers- feathers! I’ve got lots of them from my friends!” Then again, the dark mage didn’t know any better. Fashion wasn’t his quota- but plaid? Defiantly not.

Balthazar shifted slightly now that he was free of his armor. He wrapped his arms around Rowan with a gentle hum, kissing the other lovingly. It wasn’t often that he got stuck in his armor, though, perhaps it was due to the fatigue from the battle prior. If it wasn’t he’d still blame that.

Violet eyes gleamed slightly as he took in the other’s features. Still his beautiful Rowan. His...he was still there. Still alive. The prince nearly came undone at this, burying his face in the other’s chest. Sure, he appeared to be strong, but when it was just the two of them, he fell apart. 

He fell apart.
