Bishop is one of the main antagonists of Sing For Me (if not the main antagonist, because SFM doesn’t really have “a villain”, just villainous concepts). He has extremely rigid views shaped at an early age about society and the “impurity” of AI. This leads him to see everything as very black and white.
His surname isn’t actually Bishop. It’s a street name he gave to himself and directly ties into his upbringing. No one knows his real name, and he doesn’t like to be called anything else. Calling him Riven is a good way to get bruised.
He excels in hand to hand combat, but is further skilled with firearms. This is actually the way he meets the main protagonist, Slater. The two of them used to attend the same fight club.
His character archetype was originally based on Vicious from Cowboy Bebop, but he didn’t end up being quite as calculating or ambitious. His motivations are very much self-serving, but not so much for personal gain as for peace of mind.
I have two versions of this character. The SFM version and a modern AU version. The two are not related and have completely separate backstories, but very similar personalities, with the SFM version being more cold and reserved, and the modern AU version more boisterous and generally asshole-y.
