We were at a Randy Rainbow show on Saturday night, and right near the end when he was doing a little soliloquy about the good old days, somebody in the crowd yelled "breaking news - the Democrats have kept the Senate" and everybody in the place lost their minds. Cheering, yelling, clapping, stomping feet. It was magical. I hope it was as memorable for Randy as it was for the audience.
Apparently I'm not sexist...And everyone already fucking knew that.
It's ok guys, as it turns out I am not in fact sexist...phew! It was just this one guy (who apparently really doesn't like me) being a complete fucking ass bag. Some of the other graduate students actually went to our diversity committee and complained that this guy was bullying me.
Feeling much better about working here and decided to stick with the PGSA thing. All is well...for now.
