i watched a sanji critical tiktok the other day that has been stuck in my head—- like, critical in the constructive sense (in my opinion), and its given me even more motivation to build on his character in the ways that he deserves. i just. I LOVE HIM SO MUCH !! even with whole cake and pre-ts moments that subtly shaped his character, he still deserves a lot more than he’s been given. he’s been created in a way that makes it easy for him to be reduced to a gag. i’m not discounting all the development that’s been given him especially carried through to wano. but, i just think things get buried in the story and stuck behind a gag.
