Kazai calls Sanjulo by his family name almost all the time, but Sanjulo always calls Kazai by his first name. Is there a reason for it, or is it just random? (Angels definitely seem the type to have complex rules about how to address people.)
The way I always thought of it is that it was a nickname born from Zahariah Sanjulo's pride in and importance to his family. Maybe Kazai started calling him that during training, and it stuck because Zahariah was the only Sanjulo there.
As we've recently learned, the Angel birthrate (or, well, hatchrate?) is in sharp decline. Kieri and Kazai are the youngest members of their clan. The same goes for Sanjulo, but he was an only child, and now he is dead.
