City kids explore caves along the San Pedro River. Liam and Isa had a great time hiking the muddy riverbed and talking about the animals that lived in the bushes, caves and cliffs... and my many memories of Cascabel. Liam said that he wanted to go into that big cave. (We discussed the guys who discovered Karchner caverns on the way to Benson.) I told him not to go in the cave and he asked why. I said because I'm not going in to help you if you get into trouble. I also warned something could be living in there and that they don't want to be surprised by and vice versa. I think the big hole is connected to the slit hole to Isa's left. We had a fun day.
