OTP ask game #10, 29, 30 for Tokka!

I answered 10 and 29 in this ask but here is a ~summary~ of my replies over there hehe:
10 - How do they deal with the other’s family?
In Sokka's case, it’s basically rainbows and butterflies lol. Hakoda has held a deep affection for Toph since they first met, and he's noticed the connection between her and Sokka for a while. When their relationship becomes official, Hakoda is overjoyed. Of course, there may be some concerns about Sokka's future as chieftain and how it will work with Toph (especially considering how Toph prefers not to permanently relocate to the South Pole). However, Hakoda hopes that everything will eventually fall into place. He only wants the best for Sokka, and he believes Sokka has found that with Toph. As for Malina and Bato, they both have a great fondness for Toph. They admire her spirited personality and find their interactions with her to be effortless and enjoyable.
Now, when it comes to Lao and Poppy, Sokka's situation is… something lmao. Their initial impressions of him were less than favorable due to how they first met him. It takes them some time to warm up to Sokka, and he puts in a lot of effort to win them over, much to Toph's amusement. Poppy is the first to accept him after a conversation about his love for Toph, but it takes Lao twice as long to come around. It's only when Lao realizes that no matter what he throws at Sokka that the guy isn't going anywhere, that he accept that they’re in it for the long game.
29 - Who said I Love You, first?
I love the idea that Sokka is the one who says "I Love You" first because he's a sentimental guy. Even though it might make him a bit nervous to be the first to say it, it's the truth, and he doesn't want to keep it to himself any longer than necessary.
That's why I absolutely adore the idea of Toph suspecting his feelings and teasing him, saying, "So when are you going to tell me how you feel, huh?" It's such a special moment when Sokka looks in the mirror and realizes, "Oh wow, maybe I really do love her." Those moments are incredibly heartwarming, and they suit their personalities perfectly.
30 - When did they realize they loved each other?
It takes them both a while because on the one hand, Toph had a kiddie crush on him when she was young and the last thing she needs are these ~feelings~ popping up on her at random. She wants to believe that it’s nothing and that it’ll all go away the way it came, but she soon realizes how wrong she is. I feel like she’d come to this realization at a very non-monumental moment. Like, she could be lounging around with him one night and laughing and screwing around, and it just—hits her. Like— “shit, this is…more than I thought it was, isn’t it?” It takes her a while to accept it, though, but that’s an answer to a whole different question LOL
As for Sokka, it takes him a while longer. And the last thing he wants is to believe that he’s got feelings for his best friend. Because why in the world would he? She’s the one person he could be himself with completely, the one person he can tell everything to… he can’t feel this way for her. He’s well aware of what he’s feeling but he doesn’t want to believe it lmao. But once he lets the realization settle, I’d say it’s a while after Toph comes to the realization herself.
