HAPPY PRIDE (very late official post I know). I love seeing them happy like this :)
Below I have their concept sketches for Pride Outfits where you can see their flags a bit more clearly. As a bonus, my persona, Void, is also there with my flags! And yes, Syn is a tad overdressed compared to everyone else. That’s just how they are.
Shade, Syn and Chime belong to me
Playing around with some of Chime’s powers. Fun fact: Chime can summon fire in only these part of his body (hands, tail tip, horns). He usually only summons fire from his hands, but when he’s angry or emotional he can accidentally summon fire elsewhere (usually his tail since he hits it against the ground a lot)
Worked on this during a doctor’s visit (pro-tip, art can help with anxiety), so yeah, here we go :)

Okay, so while I didn’t partake in MerMay, I still wanted do to some art and make Chime and Shade some Mer forms (Syn doesn’t get one for a large variety of reasons, sorry Syn). I might make some more art of them, but for now it’s just this. Below, I have the planning sketch for them.

So Chime get’s to be a spotted ratfish since it is a type of chimaera, and Shade is a Snowflake Moray because, well, I just like moray eels. The pattern on the Snowflake Moray was a pain and a half to draw though.

More training with Chime and Shade. As much as Chime wants to fight evil, he can’t put his all into training (he’s too worried about accidentally hurting Shade despite Shade being far more experienced.)

Finally, some actual lore on Chime. He can see and potentially interact with the Save Points, though I get the feeling that he shouldn’t. It’s linked to his past, which he very conveniently has amnesia about. Syn and Shade cannot see the glitched points though. Chime is also hoping to not see them again…
