Oh question question! How many species of the skeletal mers have you discovered in total?
That's a great question, some say there are hundreds, millions even.
It does depend what you classify as a specise. Some say the main two are all you can class as a species. if you count every variation and each fish mimic well I'm almost certain there's probapably at least 1 mimic per fish in the sea. Here at our research Aquarium we like to classify our speicese by apperance and temprement. the ones we've reasearched and classified as a sub-species theres about 8 but there maybe more to descover.
