01. What does your character’s name mean? Did you pick it for the symbolism, or did you just like the way it sounded?It literally comes from the “precious Cinnamon Roll, too good for this world, too pure” meme. Clark and I were calling him Cinnaburn (b/c he is not a precious cinnamon rolls, he is a burnt and bitter cinnamon roll) as a joke and then shortened it to Cinna and it just....stuck. In-universe he chooses the name after finding a fairly clean hoodie in a trash can. It’s got a picture of a cinnamon roll on the front and text on the back, and while he can’t read he sorta knows the alphabet, so tries to sound out what it says. (the full text says “Cinnamon Roll, too good for this world, too pure”) He gets as far as “Cinna” and gives up. Later someone asks him his name and he has no idea what to say so he just blurts out “Cinna”.
02. What is one of your character’s biggest insecurities? Are they able to hide it easily or can others easily exploit this weakness?He’s terrified of his friends leaving him. He’s kinda convinced he’s an inherently bad and dangerous person and that all he does is hurt people, but at the same time he’s desperate for attention and affection, so he tends to kinda swing back and forth between being super clingy and trying to push people away. He’s not good at hiding his insecurities. At all.
03. What would be their favorite physical trait about themselves?Hair, maybe? He doesn’t actively dislike his appearance but it’s not really something he thinks about that much. He’s pretty neutral on that front.
04. What are their favorite traits about their lover? (one psychological and one physical)gonna just...replace “lover” with “salt and pepper”Pepper, physical: he actually kinda likes that’s tall b/c it means she can pick him up and carry him around and when she hugs him it makes him feel safe.Pepper, psychological: she’s good at comforting. She always seems to know when he’s in need of a hug, or needs a distraction from his thoughts, or just needs to have someone nearby.Salt, physical: he’s very grateful Salt’s got a similar build to him b/c he ends up having to borrow a lot of clothing from him.Salt, psychological: in some ways Salt’s general abrasiveness is good, because then when he says something nice it feels more genuine. He doesn’t assume Salt’s lying, because if Salt doesn’t like someone he says it.

06. Do they have any hobbies that their lover Salt and Pepper find unusual, odd, or otherwise annoying?Salt gets very annoyed by Cinna’s tendency to kick and scratch him in his sleep. A lot of the stuff he does they find weird - eating random stuff, refusing to take off his hoodie unless he absolutely has to, his habit of chewing on stuff when he’s anxious - but for the most part they put up with whatever weird stuff he does.
08. What is, perhaps, their biggest flaw? Are they aware of this or oblivious to it?He constantly second-guesses things - relationships, opinions, situations. He assumes the worst of every situation and reacts accordingly, by which I mean he runs off and hides until Salt or Pepper find him or he gets a call from River telling him to stop being an asshole and go home.
10. Is your character more feminine or masculine?He’s more masculine, but honestly I could picture him being perfectly wiling to wear a dress or makeup. He doesn’t really care about gender roles.
12. Is there some particular talent, skill, or attribute that they simply could not give up?Shapeshifting. It’s part of who he is - not being able to shift would be like having half of himself cut off. He wouldn’t be able to deal without it.
14. Do they live alone or with family? How do they feel about their family/roommates?He lives with Salt and Pepper. He’s very close to them both, even if it doesn’t always seem like it.
15. Is there a certain person in this world that they cannot stand? The very mention of this person’s name makes them tremble with anger or fear.Gelen, for a while. River also terrifies him but Gelen seems to have some kind of grudge against him, and on top of that, he’s a scientist.
16. Is your character the athletic type or more of a couch potato? What are some sports/games that they like?Athletic, definitely. He doesn’t really like any specific sports but he loves to go hiking. Being out in nature is comforting to him.
17. Does your character have dreams of getting married and/or having children?Nope.
18. What kind of home would they want to live in? Where would they place this abode?Honestly he’s content with the apartment. Maybe having a bigger house would be nice but he’s fine with what he has.
20. Does your character like animals? What are some of their favorite animals? Would they want pets? What about mythological creatures?Yes! He likes cats, and raccoons, and birds, and pretty much all animals! He’d never want a pet, though.
21. What is one of your character’s biggest fears? How would they react when dealing with this fear?His friends leaving him. He tends to react by running off and isolating himself, leaving them before they can leave him.
22. What kind of tattoos, piercings, birthmarks, freckles, and other such unique physical features do they have?he’s got a ton of freckles, mostly on his face but also on his shoulders and just, in general.

There’s people trying to prove Cinna’s photoshopped, people trying to prove he’s real, one person trying to prove he’s a secret government experiment to create the Ultimate Cat, and also some people that just think he’s cute.Basically, he’s slightly famous.
30. When it comes to the arts (music, film, theater, etc), what does your character like?He tends to like stuff aimed at kids. He’s a fan of positive, happy stories, along with fantasy.
31. Would your character be the kind capable of killing? Would they enjoy killing or only use it when necessary or, perhaps, refuse to kill no matter what?Yes. He doesn’t enjoy it, but if he feels threatened enough, he can and will kill people.
33. If your character wanted to be alone, where would they go?Usually if he gets overwhelmed and needs a moment on his own he goes outside and hangs out in the alley next to the apartment, by the trash cans. If he really needs space he’ll go out walking or hiking.

37. What are some of your character’s pet peeves? What are some things that annoy them or disgust them?He hates when people joke about him being short, gets annoyed when Salt doesn’t clean up after making coffee.

40. Does your OC have any guilty pleasures they enjoy? Hobbies, past times, music, etc that they wouldn’t want known by others?Not really, he’s not particularly embarrassed by his hobbies and interests.

Around people he doesn’t know as well he can seem shy but with them he’s much more talkative and energetic.

Or does your character not get envious?He gets jealous of Salt and Pepper - he adores them, but feels like they see him as second, at best. He gets jealous whenever he sees Salt and Pepper paying attention to other people, to be honest.
