My iPhone and I are beginning to get along nicely!
I'm becoming much more comfotable using Siri to send texts, start and stop music, and look up directions. I also synced iCal with my Google calendar so that when I add a calendar item with Siri--or manually if unfortuntely necessary--it shows up in my Google calendar.
I've also taken all of my syncing, importing, etc. as an excuse to clean out my Google contacts, which, as an Android user for the last two years, is how I have been storing all of my phone numbers. Today, I went in and cleaned out all the contacts I no longer call or write as well as the "contacts" which Google has automatically added for me after I send just one email to a given address.
In other iPhone news, I had my first Facetime chat tonight with my friend Steve out in Salt Lake. Apparently, they are having quite a white Christmas out in Mormonland with year. Somewhat frustratignly, however, Facetime cut out on us three time until we just gave up and settled on a voice call. Perhaps the Facetime network was bogged down with people across the country wishing one another Merry Christmas.
