One woman, two sides of a sign, and a creaky ladder didn’t make too good of a combination. Marley had delegated to be the one to put up the Fourth of July decorations for the contest, but there was no way they were going to win if she couldn’t get the damn sign straight. She tried to take a step back, but the ladder creaked under her weight, toppling slightly, and she’d just barely caught herself from spilling out onto the concrete. She let out a breathless laugh upon catching the eye of a passerby, offering them a bright grin that didn’t match the near-death moment they had come close to witnessing. “That was a close one.” She informed, slowly straightening herself up. “...tell me, that look crooked to you?” A hand (carefully) released from her grip on the ladder to gesture to the sign up above.

The argument that he and Skyler had gotten into the week prior had been affecting Rizzo far more than he’d care to admit, trying to push all of those irritated thoughts to the back of his mind to no avail. His ex just seemed to be everywhere, a fraction of his own instagram followers pleading for him to comment on the picture that the male had posted on his own account. Of course, most of the people who followed him only did so because they were fans of his mother, but that didn’t mean they weren’t entertained by the prospect of drama — assholes, he thought to himself. But, then again, so was Rizzo, evident by the way he roughly pulled Skyler aside the second he laid eyes on him at the parade — though, that could have also been the cocaine coursing through his veins. “You just don’t know when the fuck to give up, do you?” he scoffed, eyes flickering over the other’s frame. “Nice outfit. You wanna tell me what ‘faithless’ means?”

RED, WHITE, & BOOM PART 2!

Where: Love and Leashes

What: Adoption Fair/Support Center

As everyone knows fireworks can be a tricky time for our four legged friends. To help support them Love and Leashes is not only lowering it’s adoption fee to $20, but also allowing people to come in all night The shelter will be open till Midnight and you come in at any time and hold, cuddle, or support our animals during this time. They need you as mich as you need them.

What: Red, white, and brew

It’s 5′O Clock finally which means it’s time to drink those special 4th of July cocktails. Hop over to your favorite bar and get yourself a half priced drink!

What: You Make My Heart Melt

For those of you who aren’t feeling up to drinking feel free to take yourself or your families for a more wholesome activity. Free Red, White, and Blue popsicles will be passed out from Senator Barnes.

What: Fireworks

It’s what you’ve waited for all day so let’s get that boom on! All across Santa Monica fireworks will be going off. 

This plot drop will last from July 8th - July 10th. Feel free to make starters or edits of your decorations. You can still use santamstarter and santaminspo for your posts. While this is not an event the fourth will be done with a number of plot drops. All of this will be a free for all and there will not be pairings. If you choose to not participate in this then that is fine, this is just a fun way for us to celebrate the fourth with all of you!

***This is the last plot drop with activities. The last plot drop will be to wrap up any loose ends and announce any winners. Please be on the look out for it, it’ll be up and posted around Tuesday!

If you are making anything involving the plot drop please use santamfireworks. It will be the tag for all of the plot drops throughout the fourth.

When Jasmine Davis decides to go all out there is no holding her back and with some free time on her hands she put her all into creating different outfits. She kept her hair up for most of it with an American flag hairband as well as having painted her nails in preparation for the day ahead, with a splash of red lipstick to finish it all off.

Outfit Number One (parade)  

Considering it something of a warm up she played it relatively tame in the white top and blue jeans that she had painted white stars on, a red belt to accessorise as well as the stars and stripes caridgan. 

Outfit Number Two (dessert wars) 

Ramping up the patriotism a little she swapped her blue jeans for a pair that matched the flag, keeping her top the same as she quickly entered her cookies into the competition before dashing off to the next event.

Outfit Number Three (light it up)

Changing it up once again as she supported her friend and enjoyed the new music, she switched to a red skirt and strapless white top with the cardigan making an appearance once again.

Outfit Number Four (show us your Patriotic side) 

Saving what she considered the best to last as she headed to Downtown to enter into the costume competition. Changing her hairband for something with a little more sparkle and ditching her previous outfit in favour of the dress that looked like a flag.

I had a blast today! These were my 4th of July ice cream cone cupcakes! Super fun to make and absolutely scrumtious! A special thanks to everyone who came out and supported all the bakers! 🎉💕
