Scenery Practice 🌱

Found a beautiful photo set of From Up On Poppy Hill on Twitter and decided to paint them. I’ve got to say that I am actually learning perspectives and painting details in these works such the sunlight, shadows, and especially in painting them distinctly (when it comes to the distance of the trees and other objects). Scenery from films like Ghibli and Shinkai help a lot and I’m really trying to incorporate these ooh moments I’ve had right now, hopefully & eventually using it for another project which will be painting my favorite corners/places in my city.
