     “you alright?” thea asked, tilting her head slightly. “you want some fries? you can definitely have some fries.” she came to this little diner once or twice a week and ordered the same thing-- a classic burger and fries with a strawberry milkshake. she’d eat alone and people watch. but on this night, however, SOMEONE ELSE was watching her. maybe they recognized her, maybe she’d spilled ketchup on her shirt again, but either way it didn’t matter. she was in a really good mood and they were welcome to join her. “come sit.” she offered, waving to the empty spot in front of her.

harper was always at will’s parties. it was always the same crowd every night. the classic junkies and people desperate to have an escape from their reality. harper wasn’t a stranger to the feeling. so come to her surprise when she sees someone that she has never seen before. another person that has fallen to the darkness? harper grabbed a red cup, filling it with beer straight from the keg, and made her way over. she gracefully sits on the arm of the sofa and carefully presents it to the stranger. “hey there,” she smiles, “don’t think i’ve seen you here at will’s parties before. i’m harper,” she introduces herself.
