Ok I don’t know if this makes any sense but this song is what depression feels like to me..like this constant pain and emptiness at the same time. And they don’t lie beneath the surface. They stay in the deepest parts of my mind, consuming me day by day without showing themselves to others, who simply don’t see what is going on in the small organ that is my brain, they don’t know about the continuous fight between the sane parts of my mind and the sick, rotten ones that slowly and steadily keep eating up what little peace remains of me.
