Our girl made out like a bandit tosay at her 8th birthday party. And I don't mean just with presents! My littke extrovert was so excited to have a "normal" birthday party again and have "guests," as she kept calling them. there will come a day when you no longer want mommy cuddles or to hold my hand. you will decide one day that you are a "big girl" & you won't extend your arms up for me to pick you up. you will go into the kitchen to get your own drink and make your own food. before i know it, your friends will be cooler than mom. & that's all okay. because right now, you want my cuddles, hugs, kisses. you want me to pick you up & carry you around because your little legs are tired. you still want to sleep with mom every night. i'm going to soak all of that in while i can. i'm not going to make you sleep in your room, there's enough room in mine for the 2 of us. slow down just a bit so i can enjoy this just a little longer. i would not trade you for the world. my happiness begins & ends with you. i love you Dani.🖤 #sappymompost
