Meet the Artist: @saprophilous​

Hey everyone, I go by SAPRO. I’m a non-binary and Japanese-American artist who loves to draw fantasy as well as horror. I like to take on private commissions, but… I also do work illustrating comics. It is my goal to work on more TTRPG and maybe character concepts or game illustrations in the future. Please keep an eye on my work, as I am always trying to make fun things!

Please have a look out for my upcoming illustration to be featured in issue 004 of Lock-on Magazine (Lost in Cult), an illustration for a POC horror anthology entitled “Death in the Mouth,” and for the upcoming TTRPG “Gun Witch.”

I’m very fortunate to be in a program that offers courses like LGBTQ+ Issues in Higher Education. Last semester, I took Multicultural Issues in Higher Ed and both of these classes have opened my eyes and offered an opportunity for much reflection and discussion. These are just two of the textbooks I’m reading in my LGBTQ+ Issues course this semester.
