Advocates for Defunding Police Drop Millions to Boost Dem Senate Candidates

MoveOn announced it is undertaking a $2 million ad blitz attacking Sens. Lindsey Graham (R., S.C.), Martha McSally (R., Ariz.), and Susan Collins (R., Maine), who are all locked in tight Senate races, Politico reported.

The ad buy is MoveOn's first foray into Senate races this cycle and comes as Democrats look to flip control of Congress's upper chamber in November. The campaign will attempt to paint Graham as a "phony," knock McSally over health care, and hit Collins for not doing enough to separate herself from President Donald Trump.

MoveOn has spent months lambasting law enforcement officers and has advocated for stripping police of funding following the death of George Floyd.
