I think these turned out pretty good, Mohawk type hairstyles are difficult but considering these are just rough sketches I’m not upset with how these turned out

Would it have made more sense to make Hadley Lark a skylark? Maybe. However she also has more than one atlas moth tattooed on her. Sara just has a lot of big cat energy

Hadley: “Looking for Alaska” type character but from her perspective and her personal traumas are not used as someone else’s growth
Sara: do you ever want to scream and cry and give up? But you don’t? Because you have responsibilities
Molly: childhood/inner-child
Ty: a very loose inspiration from old asylums I’d been studying
Jamie: starting over and being unknown
“Nobody’s coming to save you” character that still will drop everything to help someone x “you can always ask for help” character who tries to struggle through things alone

She’d once told me that that old converted lab felt like more of a family home to her than her mother’s house. I couldn’t blame her, that house is cold and quiet; and her mother is a step above a vegetable, staring forward at the tv while a nurse keeps her alive, fed, and the house from falling into shambles. Now, the lab has heat and smoke billowing out from every direction. Jamie Conn, a kid who’d been hired not that long ago for xer incredible mind and promise, stood in front of an ambulance cradling what was left of his hand.
