In cream-colored envelopes with wax seals of shimmery coral and a floral imprint, the invitations were mailed to every member of the Sunguard from an Initiate to the Archon himself. Likewise, each envelope held a pinch of colorful confetti and a hand-written note stating, “Bring your own dishes to share if you like!” and, “Can’t wait to see you there!”, signed ‘Sarahnis’.

I’m dying - this video includes a summary of the Sara Lee Bread instagram account reaction to the sketch that I haven’t seen before. 

When I watched the sketch all I could think about was the poor REAL social media manager waking up to all those comments and wondering what the heck was going on and WELL, it seems like that was exactly what happened...

Bread Bias

My brother is very particular about the texture of the bread he uses to make sandwiches. It must be fresh. If it sits out for more than ten minutes, it has become “stale”. (I must note that I have no room to judge, as I have many more quirks like this than he does.) Our mum picked up a new brand of bread the other day. The below is a reconstruction of our conversation concerning Sara Lee bread. 

Lemarc: Well, it seems soft. Maybe this will be okay. 

Mikau (whose blood sugar is low and who has, therefore, just stuffed half a peanut butter and jelly sandwich into her mouth): *Mutters indistinctly around sandwich*

Lemarc: I have some reservations about brands with two first names, though.

Mikau: *Swallows and then snorts judgmentally* Their slogan is “Nobody doesn’t like Sara Lee”.

Lemarc: *Stunned* ...Well. We’re bloody screwed, Mate.

The bread was really spongy and hard to chew. It was a weird bread experience. Usually, travelling through Asia, my weird bread experiences are more pleasant. Usually, “weird bread experience” means that there’s red bean paste or curry or something fun in my bread-object. Sorry, Sara Lee. We’re not fans.
