G hasn’t filed a RO, because the last time she physically saw him was her junior year at UPenn (pre med) when he left for a job on the west coast.
In the years between college/med school and OPH, he’s only contacted her a handful of times and always via text or dms on social media. And every time she’s blocked him.
So as of now, in our little OPH au, she still thinks he’s on the west coast. When in reality he’s moved to Boston for a job at Harvard. Which she’ll come to learn while in Paris with Ethan in August part 1
Ethan suggests she get an RO, to put her mind at ease. They discuss it. But that’s all I can say without giving things away.
So long story short, it’s never crossed her mind because she’s assumed she had like 3,000 miles between them.

Does Sara have favorite memories of Jonny or Abby from her rare visits home?

I wouldn’t call it a favorite memory, but there’s one that stands out.
At the end of a visit, I was about to catch a flight out of Starling. Oliver called for Abby to come say goodbye to me, and there was no response. We couldn’t find her anywhere. We turned the house upside down, yelling her name.
You can imagine what was going through our heads. Oliver called up Panoptic and put that whole machine into motion. We were on the verge of calling SCPD.
I finally found her asleep in the back garden, in a little gap in the ligustrums. I could’ve been gentler, grabbing her up and carrying her inside.
It was such a normal thing to panic over. I think that’s why I still remember the feeling so well. The relief was so normal, and so was her complaining about how I was squeezing too hard.

Kaidan may have several hoodies in his closet, but he doesn’t actually own them. Shepard is the ultimate hoodie thief, and for good reason. Kaidan’s hoodies hang too large on her much slighter frame, sleeves slipping past her own hands, big enough to tuck her knees up into when curled on the sofa. Somehow, they are able to feel so like the embrace she misses when he is called away from her side on duty, laced with his scent and somehow filled all the warmth of him too. Of course, she has her favourite. The royal blue one, with the white racing stripes down the arm and gold sewn through it, holds a special place in her heart; so very like the armour that has brought him back safely to her so many times. Her fingers trace the lettering stitched onto it each time she wears it, the curve of each letter of his last name so familiar and fond - a name she one day takes for her own too.
And of course, it goes without saying that Kaidan doesn’t actually mind. After all, there’s a reason he just so happens to consistently forget to take them with him, or leaves them neatly laid out on Shep’s side of the bed when at home, or manages to always keep a spare for smuggling into her belongings when she is pulled from his arms to disappear into the stars once more, the hero of the day as always. He sees every little grin as Shepard pulls them on, every happy sigh as she draws them around her, and it’s a comfort to him to know that regardless of how far apart they may be pulled, there’s still a little piece of him with her, still able to make her smile.
