You’ve studied the Titans, their habits, their effects on the ecosystem... yet you have not yet tried to invest in any measure of security around them? ‘Cause y’know, if what you said is true, any one of those beauties would be worth millions on the black market if any sucker got their hands on them.” “I assure you, Mr Stark. The Titans are more than capable of--” “That what you told your ‘Jonah’ buddy? Thought so. Look, when I do business, I always make sure to inspect my goods thoroughly. It’ll just be a quick visit, in-and-out, just to get to know the guy.” “Let us hope that Rodan is in a good mood then...”
The conversation kept going even as Anthony “Tony” Stark, and Dr. Ishiro Serizawa exited the Monarch jeep that had driven them out to Rodan’s nest, the volcanic mountain of Monster Island. To be fair, Tony had been very... skeptic about this whole deal. A whole island, full of gigantic beasts that had such overwhelming eco-environmental impact on the Earth that only a few months of their exposure to nature had improved life quality exponentially? He had to see it to believe it.
So that’s why he was here. Him and Serizawa currently climbing up the mountain in their heat-proof outfits, Tony carrying a rather out-of-place, but still normal looking briefcase in one hand. He had been given a ‘Titan Translator’ device, which would help him to ‘understand’ these beasts? Seemed improbable, but then again, he’s invented worse. Stopping about a few dozen feet from the cave entrance, Serizawa would call out;
“Rodan? Rodan, would you be available for a bit? There is... someone who wishes to see you.”
