Hello everyone I'm Roohi and I live in Sar Agha Seyed Village.I just writed this review to tell you about our village and myself.
Nowadays, it can be a dream to have an opportunity to visit a village which has kept its traditions. Sar Agha Seyed village is one of the rare villages which traveling there will give you this chance to have a local experience and traditional life style with villagers. Imagine, historical village with stone houses laying on the steep between mountains, houses on top of houses, kids running around from one roof top to another, or an old lady is baking bread and smell of fresh bread on wood fire will take you back in time.
Sar Agha Seyed” is 2500 meters above the sea level and is located on one of the foothills of “Haft Tanan” summit in the central part of Kuhrang County and 130 kilometers from Shahre Kord in Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari Province. Its houses are from adobe and windows and doors of all houses open to the green nature and Imam Zadeh “Agha Seyed”. However, most of the houses of Sar Agha seyed are windowless and the doors are the only openings of the houses.
Sar Agha Seyed is a village with mountainous and cascade architecture which is known as Zagros Masooleh. However, despite maintaining its originality, its name has been rarely heard among cascade villages.
But who we are?
My family and I live in the village and we have local houses.I can guide tourists and service them in our guesthouse.We are also called Bakhtiari nomads.We have many interesting cultures and customs , so I hope to introduce them and meet many kind tourists all around the world.
