This incredible character actress means so much to so many people and it is a testament to how talented she is. I know I'm not alone in saying that I would not be the woman I am today had I not grown up watching Gilmore Girls! And I probably wouldn’t talk as fast nor would I think it’s okay to drop so many pop culture references into my everyday jargon as I do; moreover, the show taught me to be brave. Lorelai, although fictional, has always been a friend and a Mom to me. I love her. And have great respect and admiration for the character’s strength, intelligence, determination, and wit. Then as an adult, I formed a kinship with another one of Graham's characters, Sarah Braverman on Parenthood, which is a show that, much like Gilmore Girls, becomes part of a fan's DNA. For all of this, Lauren Graham will always hold a special place in my heart. I wish that one day I could properly thank her. Here I have pictured her two books. Her memoir, Talking as Fast as I can is a MUST read for all who call Stars Hollow home.
