Mr. Valdez, the young man being arrested in the attached video, is a 22 year-old entrepreneur and senior at Prairie View A&M University. He was approached by a pct. 4 officer for riding his "Segway" board through the mall and ended up spending the night in jail for a bogus charge of resisting arrest. They saw that the police had a man pulled over and had him out of his car, so they began filming. Afterwards the police confronted them about their filming, and this man used "profanity". He was told that if he said one more cuss word, he was going to jail, to which he promptly replied "fuck you". Part 3 THE LIES BEHIND RESISTING ARREST- on August 17th, when Lt. Michael Fine confronted Alexander Tucker. Lt. Fine approached Tucker, who immediately asked why he was being detained and instead of providing an answer, Fine told him that he would ‘get tased’ if he didn’t obey. Fine proceeded to grab Tucker’s arm and lead him towards his squad car where he then assaulted and attempted to handcuff Mr. Tucker without providing any probable cause. When Mr. Tucker passively resisted his unlawful arrest and continued asking why he was being detained, Lt. Fine tased him without warning and placed him in handcuffs. When Mr. Tucker asked what he was being arrested for, Lt. Fine replied “resisting arrest” in an attempt to justify his actions with stereotypical circular cop logic. Upon further questioning of the reason for his arrest, Lt. #BostonPolice officer attempting to to arrest this black woman. This officer recklessly pulls his gun on this unarmed woman. While the bus was full of passengers.
