★ What are your favorite romance tropes? Some of my favorites are forbidden romance (age gap, power imbalances, sibling’s best friend/best friend’s sibling, so so many), marriage of convenience/arranged marriage, fake dating, enemies to lovers/enemies with benefits, second chance romance, forced proximity … literally all of them. And I especially LOVE @sarahmcradit’s Book of All Things series because each book can be read as a standalone, and they each incorporate 2-3 of my favorite romance tropes. I’m reading the next book, The Claw and the Crowned now, and am obsessed. OBSESSED I TELL YOU. It’s the spiciest yet, too. 😏 Also, there is currently an incredible Kickstarter campaign happening featuring the most stunning special editions of the first five books in the series. It’s already fully funded and closes Nov. 21st! I backed the other day and am hyped up to receive my books. I’ll add the link to my stories, or you can visit Sarah’s bio! ★ Which sequels are you hoping to read soon? Happy #StackSaturday! I'm looking forward to reading the second book in @sarahmcradit’s The Book of All Things series, THE SYLVAN AND THE SAND! I think it will be one of next week’s reads. 🖤 This is the second in a series of standalone fantasy romances set in The Kingdom of the White Sea world. In The Sylvan and the Sand you can expect: - Enemies to Lovers - Arranged Marriage - Close Proximity - Found Family Any time I read one of Sarah's books, I know I'm in for a treat—this is one of my favorite worlds to step into. No stone is left unturned, and its clear these stories are a labor of love and careful thought. I mention this every time, but the world building and political scheming are reminiscient of Game of Thrones, while the romance and characters remind me of Falling Kingdoms or Throne of Glass. Highly recommend. You can also get the first book in the series THE RAVEN AND THE RUSH for $0.99 cents until May 15th!
