This is but one single sheet, yet it’s packed with a capsule history, discography, plus an update about the latest goings-on of the Sarah Records band Blueboy. It’s credited to "Clovis”—the band’s manager, perhaps?
I’m not sure how I happened upon this newsletter, but it’s likely I received a copy while at what was mentioned in here as the only upcoming Blueboy gig, “at the THEKLA in Bristol on August 28th.” That is, of course, the most understated way possible of mentioning what was in fact the giant Sarah Records farewell concert, with numerous bands from the legendary label performing that night to send it off. I was there and absolutely loved how Blueboy did two performances showcasing their different sides: a quiet, acoustic first set of earlier material, then a second, noisy set with newest single “Dirty Mags” a clear highlight.
