yeah, completely agree and that’s definitely where it stems from for me. When I lived at home I’d grown pretty numb to raised voices and criticism, but now I just feel overly sensitive to any harsh tone directed at me no matter who’s speaking, and don’t know how to deal with it

Yeah! It was kinda sad that most of the songs they played were from when I was in high school, but I guess you gotta stick with the favs;)

They’re gone now! Whew!!!!!! I’m not sure if we’ll get a 1 year or a 3 year (we usually manage to score high enough to get a 3 year), but idgaf. The humiliation is over. sheesh XD

I don’t think I’m going to be brave enough. I don’t want to say anything during Pride - emotions are going to be too high and I don’t want to be dismissed as impulsive. Also, we’re going to lunch with her father the next day, and that’s just too much pressure. And I don’t want to say “hey, i kinda love you” right before I jet out of town.

Ugh. Wish I wasn’t such a coward when it comes to emotional stuff :/
