I’m back boo boo. <3
Hi Sara! Long time no see! Idk if you remember me, but I'm CC/Ribbon Cake. I remade my Tumblrs & I remembered you, & I wanted to ask how you were doing! <3
Hi! Sorry it’s taken me so long to answer this, thank you for thinking of me! I do remember you, you’ve always had a lovely blog. I’m doing very well, thanks. How about yourself?
Ahhhh, you're really beautiful!!! <33
Oh, thank you so much! Those sunglasses look really swell on you. ;)
Hey dear! I need to dress up as a 60's fashion icon but I don't know what to wear- do you have any ideas? ♡
Who’s more iconic than Audrey Hepburn? Here’s how I dressed up as her: http://www.saradujour.me/2015/11/breakfast-at-tiffanys-halloween-costume/ Alternately, if you have short hair, you could put on a shift dress and big lashes and go as Twiggy!
What books do you recommend? Like the books you really, really, really love? :)
Oh boy, so many! The Harry Potter series will always be near and dear to my heart, because of how formative it was for me in terms of shaping my values. It was such a wonderful world to escape to, too. As an adult, Jane Eyre ranks as one of my favourite books, as is Ender’s Game. I also love the Eragon series, by Christopher Paolini, and the Golden Compass series. Gone Girl, by Gillian Flynn, is a more recent favourite.I have a more complete list of favourite books here: http://www.saradujour.me/books/
Is the feeling of having a broken heart the same as being depressed?
I’ve never suffered from clinical depression, so I can’t speak from experience on that, but from what I’ve heard that’s more of a persistent hollowness, a bleak, unending hopelessness rather than a stabbing pain.
Heartbreak, which I do know, is agony. It feels like your heart has been ripped out of your chest. You can’t breathe, and you feel the echo of your heart living on somewhere else, outside you, being squeezed by someone’s fist. Short answer: I don’t think so, no.
Hello Sara! I've been following you for a while now and I know you have a lot of style and know a lot so I wanted to ask you, I'm just starting to wear make up but I dont even know how to buy it, would you recommend me a special brand to star with?<3
Hello, thank you! I don’t have a favourite brand of makeup, I love various brands for different products. I talk about my favourite beauty products a lot on my blog, so I think that’s the best resource for you! http://www.saradujour.me/category/beauty/makeup/
