We Watch | Jessica and Uatu
They were similar. Uatu almost found it funny, how both he and Jessica Jones observed others as their job. However, while she did it for money, the Watcher did so because it was his purpose. Over the course of his long life, he had seen planets be born and destroyed, empires rise and fall, and the birth of the Heroic Age. It was in the newly refurbished glass pane of her front door that a glimpse of the figure would have caught her eye. His huge reflection loomed over the private detective, standing in the corner of the room. Uatu was unmoving and unflinching, watching Jessica, slumped at her desk.
