The tribal community of Jharkhand will celebrate Sarhul on 24 March. The Sadans (non-tribals) here also celebrate this festival with great pomp. In Jharkhand, Akhra and Sarna places have been decorated for Sarhul festival, where Sarhul will be worshiped with rituals. Sarhul is a prominent festival of Jharkhand, and some parts of Orissa and West Bengal, celebrated by the tribal communities with a lot of pomp and splendour. Nature worship forms  a big part of this festival.
