I liked the characters I liked the music I liked the setting but the storyline was lacking

No, yeah, I totally get that!  It had some good songs, I liked the characters individually… but it didn't come together into anything spectacular.

In terms of the big-picture coming out of the theater pure Disney magic, I'd have to rate the latest films Tangled > Frozen > PatF … with the last two about equal.  They both had potential for greatness, but on the whole they just felt kinda flat.
