Julião Sarmento es un artista y pintor multimedia portugués. Sarmento estudió pintura y arquitectura en la Escuela de Bellas Artes de Lisboa.
Nació en 1948 en Lisboa, Portugal.

Juliao Sarmento
Nace en Lisboa en 1948. • Estudió pintura y arquitectura en la escuela de Bellas Artes de Lisboa. • Su trabajo se formaliza desde lo fronterizo. Muchas de sus obras contienen imágenes de imágenes y están relacionadas entre sí, aunque funcionen de manera independiente. Son microrrelatos que asumen la múltiple potencialidad del cine, entre lo expreso y lo secreto, entre lo personal y lo extraño. Su obra proyecta esa sensación cinematográfica, porque en lo que vemos siempre intuimos algo que se mantiene ausente, fuera de escena.
