I don’t really have much of an explanation for this one, but this story forms the end of Nor'vaen' time as a full time character for me.

I don’t really have much of an explanation for this one, but this story forms the end of Nor'vaen' time as a full time character for me.
As Nor'vaen continues to babysit young Haaleris, they are surprised by the visit of an old friend.
Haaleris belongs to @softlyvoiced
Lord Sarundir Highshade had once called himself Nor’vaen’ mentor and captain, but over time the two became fierce friends and in the end Highshade was sold the majority of Dawnsprinter’s business ventures when the Spell Shield decided to retreat to the quiet of the woods, away from the dark shadowy world he had inhabited since the fall of the Lich King. He often thinks about the boy he once knew, and how war had broken down his kind heartedness and turned him from a capable soldier to a killing machine without equal within any Spellbreaker unit.
Captain Highshade and Nor'vaen Dawnsprinter continue their path around Stormsong, aiming to help some Farstriders under the Command of Captain Silentbane in the stealing of an item from within Fort Daelin, but a letter from home has changed this plan quickly.
The Sin'dorei cavalry unit headed by Captain Sarundir Highshade continues its distraction and terrorising mission across the Stormsong Valley, but it seems that their attempts have not brought about the response required.
