Stages & Stereos have been in the studio with Zack and Kenneth, and we're stoked to have the band in for a new PropertyOfZack Behind The Booth series. Check out the first update below!
From Zach Schweizer of Stages & Stereos:
For the past 17 days we have been in the studio working on a new album. This has been an experience that will forever change our band and hopefully our career. We've been tucked away in the urban forest known as Alpharetta, Georgia working with our good friends Zack Odom and Kenneth Mount. We are beyond blessed to work with these two gents, they have made this adventure as pleasant and rewarding as it can be. We came in with about 13 songs and had to narrow it down to 5. Once we had that figured out we spent a couple days on pre production working and re working out every single part on the record. No piece of time and music was left untouched.
Being in the studio is so much fun that you might not end up seeing daylight all day, or may forget to even eat that day. Making music is all consuming, it takes over your heart, your mind, and your spirit. It's all about conveying how you feel inside and what it is exactly that you want to use your platform to say. We've been given a chance to feel wanted and as if we're a part of something much bigger then ourselves. We are so grateful for that, these songs are us attempting to give back to you all that you've given to us. All the minutes, all the attention you've lent us to listen to our songs or come to our shows. We want these songs to breathe a new life into this band and Zack and Ken have helped us do that. They brought out the best in us, the challenged us like no others. We can't wait to show these songs to you, we're dying to let you hear them. When the time is right you will though. I for one can't wait for that day.
