Asda-
Asda is a place which is literally littered with bargains. with tons of deals and savings to be made, there is no argument when it comes to the slogan ‘Britain's Lowest Priced Supermarket, 16 Years Running.’ However, I can’t help feeling negative when it came to my shopping experience. Packed full of stressed shoppers, Asda left little to be desired, narrow aisle space, low staff morale and a ‘bargain’ aisle which resembles Primark at christmas, shambles is an understatement.
Lidl-
With a swanky new signage system, Lidl looked smarter than ever. Featuring a fresh new bakery section displaying items which have been ‘baked throughout the day’ it was obvious to me that Lidl have concentrated on improving the quality of the food which is stocked, making a large improvement in the shopping experience. Lidl’s prices are cheaper than cheap, but the continental style of packaging is what lets Lidl down for me. The staff, however, cannot be faulted.
Costcuttter-
By far the smallest of shops, cost cutter is a place to get your essentials. It does the job and delivers well. But, there is no argument when it comes to the possibility of buying anything more, although the selection is vast, you will feel relieved to see an empty space. It was obvious the staff member was only temporary, however you cannot fault his passion.
Sainsbury’s-
Sainsburys will always be my favourite supermarket, with strong core values, staff members are always eager to help out and are only an aisle away if you have a question. With freshness and quality on display, Sainsburys may not be the best value for money, but at least you know exactly what you are getting. I cannot fault this shopping experience and feel that how ever many times you visit, it never disappoints.
Morrisons-
I have so many memories of Morrisons as a youngster and my expectations where not high, but I was pleasantly surprised. Welcomed with flourishings of colourful fruit and veg, the store looked great! (if a little cramped) The signage had a recent update and the store felt busy, but not overcrowded, a very pleasant environment to be in.
Tesco-
Whether we like it or not, Tesco’s is taking over the world. With stores opening all over the world, Tesco’s is an obvious success, and I can see why. With friendly staff members with beaming smiles, to scrumptious looking vegetables in all directions. Tesco’s delivers a fantastic shopping experience, which is faultless. Low prices, great quality service and a lovely store to be in. I don’t think anyone could ask for much more.
Conquering blistering winds and scorching deserts, SAS London have pitched our new brief to a group of Falmouth Students.
With an enthusiastic pitching style, and a set of vibrant trainers SAS blew our expectations out of the water, offering us a brief which we couldn’t wait to get our teeth into.
We have been asked to create a new shopping experience…and the rule book has been thrown out of the window.
Tills, cashiers, baskets, cafes, eisles.. you name it; we’re probably climbing all over it.
Asking us to look into our own supermarket experience, SAS are looking for a creative insight to how we could change your everyday shop into a magical adventure.
Its time to get my thinking cap on and become that the trolley dolly I have always wanted to become…
