Look what came in the mail today!!!! I’m truly official now! It finally feels like I can close that door and move on. Yes, that paper makes it feel different, especially without having any kinda of ceremony or celebration. The past couple months have just felt weird as far as school goes, I felt like it wasn’t over because it just kinda... stopped. It’s official, I’ve graduated! I am now a graduate from Columbia College Chicago with a Bachelor of Arts with a mayor in cinema arts and science and a minor in acting. During my time at Columbia I lived in downtown Chicago, traveled abroad with Semester at Sea, and spent my final semester in LA taking a full-time course load and taking on 2 internships. I was able to get a 4.0 my last semester and all during a global pandemic! I may not have been able to finish my last semester as planned, I may not have gotten to walk across that stage like I really would’ve liked to, but I did get to have my family and best friend over for dinner. And once covid goes away maybe I can celebrate with more friends and family.
