Steady As She Goes // Kieros + Anne

The cathartic way that he was acting even made Kieros laugh as he was given a moment to ponder over the situation. Upon waking up that morning, he automatically knew -- as he had realized during his months as a human and waking up as a human -- that the day would bring new venture. Of course, that particular day would bring forth another form of venture, something he had been yearning for. As Gregor always said, “Chan ann leis a’chiad bhuille thuiteas a’chraobh.” It is not with the first stroke that the tree falls. And though the green eyed man knew exactly how powerful each stroke of his mental ax could achieve, with the object at hand, he already knew it would be a long way until the tree came down -- and he was ready for it. 

That morning however, seemed to fall against him as one of the planks carrying the new piano he had ordered fell on top of a worker. This alone hindranced him in going to the club to sort affairs and before he knew it, it was near the prospected time he was to meet Anne at his house. He immediately sent one of his workers to the store to purchase everything she thought would be necessary for the night and to take it to the front desk of his home. Kieros wasn’t let down by Gladys -- one of his favourite workers that knew quite well that she was -- and quickly went upstairs with the bags in tow to put them away. He was still setting things in order when seven o’clock rolled in, his cool still intact as well.
