I would love to see Kol doing ballet. It better be a very technically demanding one, though, or else he’ll get bored and eat all the other dancers. Or compel them to eat each other while the entire theatre erupts in pandemonium. 

Alas, the ballet takes place in a flashback after Kol has been daggered.

I knew my dad’s clan was sort of cock of the walk back in the day, and they owned a lot of land and were apparently pretty influential (up until almost all of them were slaughtered in the Jacobite rising in the 18th century, anyway), and I knew most of my mom’s family hailed from Scotland, but I had always assumed they were lowlanders. Two of my aunts (on my mom’s side) do a lot of genealogy research, and recently found out that their roots can actually be traced back to this highland clan which was constantly warring with my dad’s clan.

Basically, it’s like Romeo and Juliet, except 400 years later and without all the suicide.

LMAO No, she just, in several of her endless bitchings to my sister, compared me to an aunt who is basically defined by the fact that she’s a manipulative, lying shrew who guilt tripped her parents out of almost all their money, paying for shit she doesn’t need because she’s one of those idiots who pulls in half a million dollars a year and still manages to spend her dumb ass into debt. Seriously, this woman has milked so much money out of her parents that my dad is now paying for my grandma’s medicine, because she can’t afford it any more. And on top of that, my grandma used to live in this apartment on my aunt’s property that she and my grandpa paid for out of their own pocket, specifically because my grandpa wanted to make sure she had a place to live and was close to family so that she’d be taken care of after he passed (he had lots of heart issues and several types of cancer, so it was a pretty safe bet he was going first, which he did), and my aunt guilt tripped my grandma into moving out of it so that she could rent it out to some strangers. Because after taking just about everything my grandma has, she and her husband still can’t support their stupid, overspending asses, so she wanted the extra income from renters and guilted her own mom out of her house.

To be fair, we do have a lot in common. I’ve lived on my own for almost nine years, have never borrowed money off my parents or asked for any help from them, and in fact have turned down money when they offered it. I see a lot of parallels. 

Honestly, I think she is making herself look like a bitter loon to anyone who knows me, and I am embarrassed for her. I don’t know what her deal is.

Nope. She refuses to resign, and she can only be fired if she loses out at the next election, or is impeached. The latter is unlikely, because the impeachment process would be handled by conservatives who seem to view her as some kind of martyr of Christianity.

I hate people like this. They are, unfortunately, the face of religion (at least here in the States), and it’s nasty, hypocritical trash like this that taints the whole concept of Christianity. Jesus didn’t preach discrimination, you fuckheads.
