Writing sample: She could feel it. That sinking feeling she always got when the wind was about to change, leading her off to her new charges. Many times she had done this, and yet this time it felt quite different. She almost felt…sorrow for having to leave these children. With a gentle sigh from her crimson colored lips, she began to tidy up a few toys around the Nursery. Jane and Micheal were never too good at cleaning up after themselves.

A loud squawk from the other side of the room caused her to pause her cleaning and cast an annoyed glance at her umbrella. “Excuse me, but it would be much appreciated if you could keep the unnecessary noise down. I am trying to get some tidying up done.” She huffed, not wanting to have any of her parrots nonsense today. “Mary Poppins you can’t fool me.” He cried, accompanied by a loud screech. With that, Mary stood up straighter, at the ready to defend herself. “Oh? I don’t have the slightest idea of what you’re talking about.” Her arms crossed across her chest naturally as she made her way to where her umbrella learnt against the wall.

“You care for these children, its written all over your face! And how ungrateful they are, they seemed to all but forgotten you!” He cawed. She paused, her blue eyes giving a piercing stare at the parrot. “Practically perfect people never let sentiment muddle their thinking.” She scolded firmly, shutting him up indefinitely. Making sure no emotion was evident on her features, she allowed her feet to take her away from her umbrella, and to the window. She could clearly make out all the families flying their brand new kites, all different shades and colors. Jane and Micheal could be seen smiling happily as the flew their kite with their Mother and Father. They were happy. If that meant that they would forget about her, she was content. As long as they stayed happy. She knew that her job was done. Internally, she was smiling. She could not deny it, she was going to miss those children.

So, I've heard people are harassing Adam again, I don't understand it. Is it really that important? The ships? They should be more worried about the story, which is what shows should be watched for as well as the characters. Besides, you're not going to love every episode. Ugh I'm sorry people just anger me. Don't you agree it's dumb?

Honestly, I try not to get involved in the fandom drama so I don’t really know what’s happened. But I think when your supposed ‘love’ for a ship/show extends to harassing and bullying the cast and crew (or anyone, for that matter), it’s gotten way out of control. And you maybe need to re-evaluate and seriously think about how much hurt you could be doing. There’s absolutely no excuse for cyber bullying, which is what it is, no matter who it’s coming from or how justified you think you are with your words. And it makes me absolutely furious seeing how much hate they have to deal with on a daily basis. 

Adam and Eddy and just trying to tell their story - a story that they love. And the cast are simply doing their jobs and portraying their characters to the very best of their ability. None of them deserve hate or abuse of any kind, whatever the excuse. Of course, like you said, not everyone is going to love every episode. And maybe some people do only watch for their ship, rather than the story. And that’s okay. People are always going to have differing opinions. It’s perfectly fine to dislike aspects of the show. What’s not okay is deciding to express said opinion in a hateful manner, telling others that theirs is wrong and/or sending nasty messages to a person. 

I think because people can hide behind a computer screen, there’s a desensitisation to what they’re actually doing. I’m sure none of them would be standing on street corners yelling abuse at Adam, as he walks by. But just because it takes place online, doesn’t make it any less hurtful or wrong. I think the most important thing to remember, as a fan, is that these people are only human too. They’re only doing their best - and they can’t please everyone. We should all try to be as kind and respectful to one another, and the cast and crew (who work so hard to produce a show we love), as possible. And if you’re really so unhappy with the show that you resort to harassment - you probably shouldn’t be watching it anymore.. for your own sake and everyone else’s.

The ship that should have happened: Honestly, she didn’t have a lot of interaction with other people so I have no idea. lol
