Angeal raised his eyebrows as he turned to look at the woman now suddenly hugging him. "Well that is certainly one way to say hello after so long." He said with a warm smile.

Amongst the Ruins [Alina & Angeal]
The door wouldn't budge. Though Angeal wasn't really that surprised to be honest. The church was an old one and the lock had long since rusted over. Grunting with the effort, he pressed his weight into it with a quick thrust to try and break the door in. After a jarring smack the door hadn't budged a bit. "Well, this is certainly being difficult." The religion, whichever one this had been, had died out decades ago, though it once had major political and economic swing back in its day.

thank you darlin.
Alina stood in front of the Nobody's gave and stared at it with glazed eyes. She took a deep breath as she continued to stare at it. Another year has gone by since he left. Sometimes, she hated being immortal. She always seems to outlive her friends. And she still had so many recipes to teach him. She glanced down at the white rose in her hand before glancing back at the grave. Her mother had always told her white was for remembrance so every year she'd place one on his grave. She set the rose on his grave before sitting down in front of it. She sat there silently for a good hour trying to figure out what to say. There was a lot she would like to say. She wanted to scold him for not letting her know that he was in danger. She decided not to do that though. She did that the first year of his death. Maybe she should tell him about the new recipe she found? Oh, but he was probably sick of her always talking about cooking. Maybe she should tell him about the most recent book she had read. After a few more moments she just gave a sigh and looked back up at the grave.
"I miss you."
