Welcome to the Dr Squatch edition of Sassy Sundays! Face it ladies, we dominate the bathroom more often than not, & the men in our lives either buy their own products or use ours. For a while SassyCactus & I were getting Birchboxes & he received a sample of Dr. Squatch’s Pine Tar soap in his. Needless to say he was impressed enough to try out a few bars of soap himself. The packaging did not hurt any either! SassyCactus ended up liking the Pine Tar so much, he recommended it to a friend of ours, WhaoFoogles. This review is written in conjunction with him.

6.00$ for a 5 oz bar is a fantastic price when only half the bar is gone in 2 months. WoahFoogles mentioned he has not even used his Cedar Citrus bar because he is STILL using his Pine Tar bar!

Exfoliated very well with bar to body method (as opposed to using a wash cloth)

Oak Moss Scrub

Does not strip or irritate skin

Very light smell that is not over powering & smells good

Smell does not linger

Irritated skin, leaving it feeling itchy& dry

Did not feel like the salt acted like a light “scrub”

Pine Tar

Soggy if not drained

Impression

SassyCactus mentioned that he would buy the Bay Rum & Pine Tar again. WoahFoogles is not partial to bar soap & mentioned that without a soap saver the soap can be soggy & cumbersome to use. Over all both would recommend Pine Tar to others, as both absolutely love this soap from smell to exfoliating properties. SassyCactus mentioned he was not very fond of the Oak Moss but would absolutely buy the Bay Rum again. He stated he did not mind the Oak Moss but it did not make him feel as clean or comfortable as the other soaps did.
