can you do a Jily hc that has to do with pets??

Lily and James want to get a pet but Lily’s a cat person while James’s a dog person. They have this discussion every single month, with James saying that it will “hurt Sirius’s feelings” if they get a cat, with Lily saying that “we already have a dog and I don’t want more dog fur in the kitchen than there already is”. And one day they just end up getting a cat, with James whining about how Sirius will be so hurt by this. But then they get home and Sirius’s in his dog form and literally spends the whole day playing with the cat with Harry, and Lily is just really smug the whole day. And James always pretends to hate that “furry spawn of evil” but really Lily knows that he plays with Elvendork at night when he thinks she’s asleep.
