ummm Freeman's joke about Lucy Liu was really tasteless and poorly delivered so it was something acceptable to be upset about???
i guess! it's all about perception imo. certain people have certain limits to what they'll accept and sometimes what they'll accept is more than another person will. Humor is highly subjective so like idk what one person thinks is funny another will think it's very nasty and in bad taste.
and tbh until lucy comes out and says she was actually insulted by it then idk. people don't need to be upset for her if she's not actually upset and we won't know if she is or not until then.
it's just something that i don't find all that upsetting personally so i'm looking at it objectively - observing. i'm not saying i found what he said funny, i'm just saying that in my opinion it was clearly a joke, tasteless or not.
