Just a headcanon about switching masters

what if Kojuro and Sasuke switched masters? 

Cons:

-Sasuke would be frustrated from Masamune’s insolence 

-Kojuro would tear his hair apart from Yukimura’s thickness

-Sasuke will get sick of Masamune treating him like a his attendant asking for impossible silly things even for a Ninja

-Kojuro will feel drained from Yukimura’s constant talking and screaming

-Sasuke will be confused at Masamune’s mood swings and mysteriousness

-Kojuro would be frustrated of Yukimura’s childish and foolish habbits

-Sasuke will be intimitated by Masamune’s craziness and boldness

-Kojuro will be irritated by Yukimura’s sensitivity and hyperness sometimes

Pros:

-Sasuke and Masamune would have fun together playing tricks on others

-Kojuro will be happy being Yukimura’s life lesson teacher , impressed by his student’s enthusiasm 

-Sasuke will have the patience to listen to Masamune whenever he needs to talk about something

-Kojuro will support Yukimura and give him a boost of positivity and morals when he is feeling down

-Sasuke would be impressed by Masamune’s sharp wit and observation skills whenever he finds out where he was hiding 

-Kojuro will find Yukimura’s kind heart and innocence endearing and feel the need to protect him (even hug him but he hides it)

-Sasuke would be fast to help Masamune out of critical complicated situations 

-Kojuro will train together with Yukimura reminiscencing about old days with him

Why Sasuke Hates Mistletoe

This party was completely ruined for him, and it was all the fault of a stupid little plant. Sasuke felt his cheeks heat up at the chants of “Kiss Kiss Kiss” echoing through the crowd surrounding them and quickly glanced down for support. He didn’t get it. In fact, his “partner”, infuriatingly enough, looked more amused than uncomfortable at the awkward position they had been put in.

“I’m not kissing you under the mistletoe,” he spat. Masamune just smirked at him. He took a step towards him. Sasuke stood his ground, glaring as the tips of their shoes met in a parody of what they were expected to do.

“Feelin’ shy, Sa-ru-to-bi?” Each syllable rode on waves of mocking care. The green Christmas lights above filled his eye with an acidic glow that matched his venomous smile. Sasuke scoffed.

“You wish. I’d just rather kiss a snake.”

“I’ve got a snake you can put your lips all over if you want. Let’s see if you can handle something else first, though.”

“You-!”

“Stop flirting and just kiss already,” someone shouted out. Sasuke turned to school that obviously blind asshat when two cold hands, smooth as river stones twisted his face forward and down to meet equally cold lips.

He went into catatonic shock for just an instant, but that was enough for Masamune to slip his hands from his face to pin his arms to his side, preventing him from pushing either himself or Masamune away. The crowd cheered but it sounded far away as the sound of his breathing rose like a storm in his ears. A heel came down hard on his foot and a tongue dammed the shout that flooded his mouth. Masamune’s eye smirked at him and Sasuke’s shock melted into anger. What was he doing!? He wasn’t some passive idiot to be controlled like this. If Masamune wanted a kiss, he’d show him a kiss.

So he shoved back, tongue on tongue, lips on lips, pushing and fighting, looking for just a taste of victory in the sour heat of each other’s mouths. Time and breath evaporated between them and when Masamune released him and Sasuke opened his eyes (when did he close them?) he took in Masamune, who was flushed like some dewy morning rose, panting quietly, and felt a rush of pride fill the hole his anger burned through his heart. Then it hit him. He just kissed Masamune, the idiotic gecko that continued being a boil on the face of his life, in front of what seemed to be the entire student body.

“Shit.” He looked around at the whooping crowd and did what any sensible person would do. 

Ran out the door and never looked back.

"I still want that rematch."

Sasuke sputtered, nearly spilling his coffee. "Then what was last night supposed to be?"

Masamune grinned. "Revenge."

"Wha--" Sasuke groaned, and made a point to kick him under the table. "Fine. But..." He glanced toward the mess on the floor. "You think we can find the whole deck?"

A chuckle. "Doesn't matter." Rising to his feet, Masamune headed for a nearby closet. "We won't need 'em."

Sasuke watched for a moment, lifting a brow. "...I am not playing strip Monopoly, I don't care how much you beg."

"Nah, nothing that complicated." Masamune shot him another grin. "You'll just have to wait and find out."

"You've got to be kidding me..."

"Not a chance, Sarutobi." Masamune settled back into his seat, dealing cards. "I'm about to make my comeback."

Another laugh escaped Sasuke, while he took a peek at his cards. "That's what you said two hands ago," he lifted his gaze, smirking, "and you're still the only one without a shirt."

Masamune kept his eyes on his own cards. "Just shut up and play."

A few hands more, and Sasuke finally pulled off his shirt. "Well, well. You sure showed me." Reaching for the cards, he shot a wink across the table. The slight glow to the other man's cheeks was more than worth it. "Now let's see if you can keep it up."

Trading two of his cards, Sasuke's smirk returned. "I hope you're ready, Date. There's no backing out."

Masamune scoffed. "What kind of guy do you think I am, anyway? Let's get on with it." Tossing down his cards, he had a grin of his own. "Full house."

Sasuke briefly eyed the cards. "Impressive. But.. I'm afraid those boxers are still mine." He carefully laid down his own cards, one by own. "Straight flush. Drop 'em."

"You--" Masamune stared for a long moment, gaping. "Dammit, Sarutobi..." Reluctantly, he pushed himself to his feet, thumbs already tucked beneath his waistband.

A glimpse of white in Sasuke's lap made him pause. "--the hell is that?"

"Stop stalling already. It's not going to kill you, you know." Shifting to rest his elbows on the table, Sasuke failed to notice the hidden card falling to the floor.

But not Masamune. Frowning, he walked around the table, pounding a fist against the back of Sasuke's head. He ignored the whine that followed, instead scooping up the fallen card. "So you've been cheating me this whole time."

Sasuke froze, paling when he caught sight of Masamune's grin. "Th-that's... not what it looks like--"

A loud thud echoed through the apartment, accompanied by Sasuke's voice, begging for mercy.

"How long has it been … since I’ve begun to see enemies and people who are expendable as monkeys?"

Hours after the battle, those words echoed in Masamune's mind. Just how did a guy manage to think like that, anyway? He knew shinobi were supposed to be cold-hearted killers, but that didn't make it piss him off any less.

Without realizing, his fist clenched, slamming against the floor with a dull thud.

"Who do you think you are, Sarutobi?"

Masamune bit his tongue there, the corners of his mouth drooping into a frown. Why did he even give a damn what an enemy ninja thought, anyway? What did he care, if the guy didn't have the guts to acknowledge the lives he took as human?

 "Tch-- next time, I'll show him just what a monkey can do."

Snapping his head to one side, his gaze fell upon the shadows.

"If you're listening, Starfox. You'd better be ready. I won't be holding back."

"How long you gonna hide in the shadows, Starfox?" He didn't look at the spot, didn't need to. If the shinobi tried anything, he was ready. "We both know that I wouldn't notice if you didn't want me to."

No answer. He couldn't help a chuckle. Fine, they'd do it his way. This time.

Not another word, and he swaggered off to the room he'd be staying in the next few days. 'Don't keep me waiting too long, Sarutobi.'

Inside, it didn't take him long to start stripping out of his armor. After a few pieces fell he gave the room a quick once-over.

"Enjoying the show? Y'know, there's plenty more where this came from."

Still no answer. He shrugged if off and went about his business--though maybe a bit more slowly than normal.

It wasn't until after he changed into something more comfortable that something finally happened--he felt hot breath caressing his ear.

"How long were you going to wait up?"

He did his best not to shudder. "--don't flatter yourself, Starfox." He turned to face the shinobi, eye narrowing. "But now that you're here, what do you want?"

"Don't play dumb with me, Date. We both know better."

"Oh yeah? Then why don't you just cut to the chase already."

"So impatient... and here I thought you liked playing hard to get."

"It was fun at first, but this shit's getting old. Cut the crap, Saru--"

Just like that, Sasuke had him pinned to the wall.

Masamune's smirk returned, and let out a low whistle. "Not bad. But when are you gonna approach me in broad daylight?"

"Who knows? But not tonight."

"Fair enough. Just don't keep me waiting too long."

So this was it. The dragon bowed his head, resigned to his fate.

When no blow came, he couldn't help but look up.

"The hell are you doing here, Sarutobi? I told you, I don't need you--"

"Does it look like I'm watching your back, Date? That's Katakura's job." The shinobi's head turned just enough to glance over one shoulder. "But what about the rest?"

A chuckle. "Don't play that shit with me, ninja. Why are you really here?"

"This isn't the way you're supposed to die. Aren't dragons supposed to soar?"

"Don't think I owe you anything for this, Starfox. The next time we meet in battle? You're mine."

"Right. Just don't keep me waiting too long, One-Eyed Dragon."

"How long you plan on hanging around, Starfox?"

Masamune's words are answered with silence.

"I know you're up there. Don't think the silent treatment's going to work on me."

"How could you tell?"

"You kiddin'? I can smell that Takeda stench from a mile away. You reek of it nearly as bad as your boy Sanada. Besides..."

He doesn't have to look to know the shinobi is behind him.

"...after the last time, who else could it be?"

"Really now. You promised me you were asleep for that."

"You should know better than to believe everything you hear, Sarutobi."

His head turns, a smirk shooting over his shoulder.

"So how about we call this round two?"

The shinobi answers with a smirk of his own.

"Just try not to wake Katakura this time."
